Confession #1: I realized a while back that I am hopelessly addicted to reading food blogs. Upon the worried expression of this realization to friends, their wise response came back, “Is that really a problem?” And then, “Well, you should start your own.”
At first I kept making excuses for why I couldn’t, until I realized – why not. I love to cook, particularly if I have someone (or multiple someones) to share the cooking (and the resulting food) with. I love to write – so that part is practically as natural and as essential to myself as breathing. And, I love taking pictures. I do some freelance work on the side (See my photography work here!), but normally I take pictures of the food I create, just for the heck of it. So why not!
My food? Whatever strikes my curious, and at times somewhat odd, fancy. I love cuisine from around the world, and I have recently been trying to focus more efforts on savory dishes. I love to experiment with baking, but it gets quite dangerous to have a healthy supply of baked goods constantly around the house. I am trying to channel my baking energy a bit away from the sweet, as I attempt to master the art of bread-making.
So, a little of this, a little of that – that’s what you will find here. If you have happened to stumble upon my little corner of the web, I hope you enjoy what you find.
.
I love hearing from you and do my best to respond to comments and emails as quickly as possible. If you have any questions or comments please leave me a comment, or you can get in touch with me via email at curiouscuisiniere (at) gmail (dot) com.
Ciao!
